2022 Hyundai Kona

The Hyundai Kona has a bold exterior look and excellent driving manners, and it just gets better with the 2022 model. The latest Kona has upgrades inside and out, including a new design for the front end, new options in the cabin, and more technology features. Here’s what you should know about the 2022 Kona.

The New Exterior Look

Hyundai made some changes to the Kona’s exterior design giving it new wheels, a new wide-mouth grille, and a stretched-out front end that extends an extra 1.6 inches. They also changed the look of the running lights and lowered the headlights to make them a better fit for the new front design.

The N Line

The N Line model joins the Kona lineup for 2022. It has a sportier look and comes with a 1.6-liter turbo engine that now puts out 195 horsepower, which is up 20 horsepower from before. The N Line features body-color trim, upgraded 18-inch wheels, and a more aggressive look for the front and rear fascias. Inside, there is red seat piping in the front and back. Other upgrades in the N Line include metal pedals, a metal shifter head, and the option for leather or suede upholstery.

Interior Changes

A 10.3-inch touch screen is now available, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The rear-seat passengers get more legroom, and there’s now ambient lighting in the footwells.

The 2022 Kona has some significant changes that only make this popular small SUV even better than before.
