Tombstone Monument Ranch & Cattle Company
Located 2.5 miles from Tombstone, this working cattle guest ranch has a lot to offer visitors. You can tour on UTVs, participate in western-style shooting, practice your archery, and go horseback riding. They offer live music in the evenings for guests to enjoy and a cinematic photoshoot with film-quality costumes. Tombstone Monument Ranch & Cattle Company also serves up three meals a day in the Schieffelin’s Restaurant.
Mount Lemmon
Experience rock climbing in the Santa Catalina Mountains at Mount Lemmon, with an elevation of 9,157 feet with more than 1,500 climbing routes. Climbers should know that there are dangers involved in rock climbing, including extreme temperatures, old hardware, loose rocks, Gila monsters, bark scorpions, rattlesnakes, lightning, and flash floods. Mount Lemmon is one of the most popular climbing spots in the state of Arizona.
Fort Bowie National Historic Site
Visitors can explore the rich history of the Apache Pass and Fort Bowie at the Fort Bowie National Historic Site. Hike the 1.5-mile trail to the old fort ruins and visitor center while soaking up the history of the conflict between the U.S. Army and the Chiricahua Apache from the 1800s. You can also enjoy the beauty of the diverse flora native to the area, as well as both resident and migrating birds.
