The Hyundai Veloster is a fun three-door hatchback with a peppy engine, and if you want the fun with even more power, you can get it with the Veloster N. Take a look at some of the features of the Veloster and the Veloster N.
The Power
The base engine for the Veloster is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The turbo Veloster models have a 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder that makes 2021 horsepower and gets 195 pound-feet of torque. If you want to pump up the power, the Veloster N starts with a 2.0-liter that generates 275 horsepower and works with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. An overboost function for the automatic boosts torque from 260 pound-feet up to 278 pound-feet of torque.
The Cabin
The Veloster has room for four and features high-quality materials and an upscale design. There’s one long door on the driver’s side and two doors on the passenger side to make it easy for the rear seat passengers to get in and out. The Veloster N has the same design but has lightweight sport seats.
The Exterior
The N adds to the Veloster’s features with adaptive suspension dampers, upgraded performance tires, and more powerful brakes. It also has an active exhaust and an electronic limited-slip differential to help the driver keep the Veloster connected to the road when accelerating.
The 2021 Veloster is fun and sporty, while the Veloster N adds more power and extra performance features.
